Like many, Ria experienced adversity early in life. She was sexually abused from age 12 – 19 by her father. Forced to play the role of his wife and even shared with other men, she was desperate to escape, and eventually left home at 19 without a job, car, or even a high school diploma. She went on to not just survive, but thrive, and shares her story to help others overcome their own past or present experiences.
